This factor can be a little tricky if it’s not totally understood. It’s true that you need credit in order to have a credit score. However, maxing out your credit cards or credit line does not look good to lenders. In fact, credit utilization makes up 30% of your total credit score. The key is having a line of credit but with a low balance. That’s what you receive with an authorized user tradeline.

Keeping a high balance on your credit cards is not good practice. Maxing out your credit cards month-after-month and not paying them off can affect your score because credit bureaus compare how much credit you use to the amount of credit you have available. As a rule of thumb, it’s a good idea to keep your credit to less than 30% of your available credit. For example, if your card has a credit limit of $2,500 you should only be using $750 of that each month.
Our company has been working with Boost My Score for over 6 years. There is a lot of misinformation out there about authorized users. No matter what you hear, authorized users definitely work. We have done extensive testing and have seen the results of hundreds of clients - from 20 points to 150 point score improvement, which helps people save money on their loans. When clients don't have a family member who can help them, BMS is the only company we turn to. They have integrity, care about clients, and will stand behind their service. There may be cheaper options out there, but I wouldn't trust anyone else to help our clients.
The total amount charged to you will depend on how many items on your credit report(s) you choose to have us correct or have investigated. CRA charges you after an item is deleted/corrected. This payment covers all of the work fully and completely rendered as described in Paragraph 1, CRA's Scope of Services, and section titled "pay for results", "Optional credit services" and "Identity Protection" are due at the completion of each deletion/correction or Optional service completed.
Thank you for sharing all the specific things you did to help your daughter. Your advice has made a world of difference! Most articles and blogs were saying the same vague things, but you shared your exact plan of action. I referenced your comments continuously for our gameplan to increase my husband's credit. In 11 months, his score went from 592 to 754! We are thrilled and now getting other areas of our finances in order (savings, 401k, etc). Hoping to buy a house in the next few years and needed to improve his credit score.
Get an unsecured or secured credit card if you have bad credit or a limited credit history. A new credit card reporting to the major credit bureaus can help build or rebuild credit history. Never max out new or old credit accounts. Make small monthly charges and pay them off on time or in full each month. Credit scores will increase as long as you keep the balance 10% or less of the available credit limit.
Pay attention to the calculation of a credit score as well. If payment history is 35%, paying off one or more credit card balances can have a fairly significant impact on your credit score - and a quick one too. An unpaid credit card balance is a much less significant form of credit than a mortgage or bankruptcy claim, so in 1-3 months paying it off will likely show in the form of a better credit score.
I applied for a home loan - wasn't approved - the loan company works with people with subpar credit though.  She gave me list of action items that needed to be done. She figured it would take me about a year to take care of it all. Gave me a deadline of 1 year out.  I sat down did all her action items in a week - waited 30 days, credit jumped to 620. She got an approval on a home loan but it wasn't ideal.  Waited another 30 days, credit was 651... she said we could get an ideal approval with a credit score of 640.  I don't know how, but I was so happy. signed on house at 3 months instead of 1 year. The loan officer couldn't believe it!  I now own my home, have lived in it for over a year.  Love my house!

You are responsible for attorney’s fees and costs incurred by CRA in all collections activities.
Enter Your Reply I would like to point out that this is inaccurate as to not having a credit inquiry on a pre-approved card offer. That is not true they have always always ran a credit even on all pre-approval ones that I have ever dealt with. I was given an invite recently for a relatively new company and I decided to try it and they pulled a hard inquiry on my credit anyway not to mention that they couldn't finish the process something happened on their website and so nothing ever went further and then I received another pre-approval in the mail after that I'm afraid to try again cuz it's going to ding my credit more
Focus on correcting the big mistakes on our credit report. If someone else's bankruptcy, collections, or charge-offs are showing up on your report, you'll likely benefit quickly by having those removed. However, if an account that you closed is still being reported as open, it's probably best to leave it that way. Having an account reported as "closed" on your file can in no way help your credit score and could actually hurt it.
Let’s say Jason and Betsy both increased their credit line by $500. Jason’s balance was at zero, so he now has $1,000 in open credit that’s not being used. Betsy’s credit line was maxed out at $500, so the new credit line increase only gives her $500 in available credit. So, they both performed the same action, but will have very different outcomes.
Once you have your credit reports, read through them completely. If you have a long credit history, your credit reports might be several pages long. Try not to get overwhelmed by all the information you're reading. It's a lot to digest, especially if you're checking your credit report for the first time. Take your time and review your credit report over several days if you need to.
Client also agrees to be contacted by telephone on Client’s landline and/or cell phone by Company irrespective of whether the Client’s telephone number appears on any state of federal “Do Not Call” lists. Client further agrees that Company may use a computerized dialing system to contact Client via telephone or SMS text and Client may use a pre-recorded message when contacting Client via telephone or SMS text. Client understands that his or her consent to be contacted does not require Client to purchase any goods or services from Company. To inform Company that Client either withdraws Client’s consent to receive communications from Company as described directly above, or to update Client’s information, Client may send such request to: Credit RX America LLC, of 1910 Thomes Ave, Cheyenne WY 82001, or otherwise call the Company. This clause shall survive the termination/conclusion of this Agreement.
A tradeline gathers information by creating an entry to your history for the grantor. The information gathered includes the list of the companies related to your accounts, the dates in which your accounts were opened, the types of accounts that you have, the payment history of your accounts, the owed balances in your accounts, your limits and more.  In this article, we will dig much deeper for you to better understand the reasons why it is wise to buy authorized user trade lines.

Only then will your credit truly start improving. If asking how to improve credit score quickly, adding tradelines or some other form of positive data is the only way. By doing this, you can cut nearly a year or longer off of building your score to the approvable range, and many times far beyond that. Tradelines come in two different varieties, installment and revolving. Installment can be auto, mortgage, student loans, and personal loans. These are collateralized and do no impact credit as much as revolving lines do. Since there is no collateral with revolving tradelines, they are unsecured–in that sense they are a form of signature loan akin to “I owe you in good faith,” and can count for a much as 70% of the credit score, which is why revolving tradelines are the best answer to “How to improve Credit Scores?” there is.

Any account that shows on your credit report is a tradeline. This includes mortgages, student loans, auto loans, personal loans, credit cards, etc. At Boost Credit 101 we use Authorized User tradelines to boost credit scores. “Authorized User Tradelines” is a fancy way of saying “credit cards.” Any person who has a credit card has a certain number of AU spots they can add people to. When a person is added, the lender, be it Chase, Discover, TD Bank, and others, reports the data to the credit bureaus. The data being reported is the payment history, limit, and age. When this positive data is reported, the credit score goes up. Someone may ask, why don’t I just have a friend or family member add me to their cards? This is certainly possible, but this can do more harm than good, as the utilization may be high, which hurts the score, or they may have missed payments (even one negates the positive effect of the data). This is why it is smart to utilize a company like Boost Credit 101, as we have an inventory of cardholders nationwide who have contracts with us guaranteeing their cards have perfect history and remain below 10% utilization.
Obviously, your credit report and credit scores change every single day, as new data appears, and items fall off. The BoostMyScore clients who see a boost to their credit scores from our tradelines typically do not have any new negative information appear in their credit reports at the same time as our tradelines. For this reason, please understand that results may vary, and a boosted credit score cannot be guaranteed.

You can get your credit report from each of the three major reporting agencies—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—for free once a year at annualcreditreport.com. But credit reports don’t include your actual credit score—you usually have to pay for those. However, I recently joined Credit Karma, at creditkarma.com, where you can actually get it for free!
Credit scoring involves complex calculations, and the more you know about how credit reports and credit scores work, the more you can take control of your own credit. In addition to knowing the most important factors considered in credit scoring, it can be helpful to know a few other facts about credit reports and credit scores. These components tend to be the most important:

Kenneth, Thanks for reaching out to us! I always recommend addressing negative content before engaging in tradeline services. That being said, the specifics of the negative content on the reports can make things murky (i.e. collections that are reporting as paid, charge off accounts reporting as settled, etc.). Check out the post on our forum for some insight: https://superiortradelines.com/forum/credit-repair-before-tradelines/ (especially before purchasing tradelines for sale). Give me a call at 407-476-1357 to discuss further, or email me at [email protected] so that we can figure out what would be the best approach for you and your credit goals.

j) You understand that CRA is expending labor, materials and funds in order to work on your credit file and that CRA is relying on your prompt furnishing of ALL correspondence received by you from either the creditors or credit bureaus, promptly upon being received by you and within 7 days. You further understand and agree that failure to provide legible copies of all correspondence you receive from the creditors and credit bureaus damages CRA and that CRA will use available credit information to establish what items have been corrected or removed from your credit file and will charge you for those items, and you agree to pay for those items, the fees agreed upon by Client and CRA.

Hey Elisha, you sound like a good candidate for tradelines. Please call us at 800-431-4741 or email us at [email protected] (or just go to https://superiortradelines.com/start/ to get started) so that we can review your report and determine whether or not tradelines will help. Based on your scores (assuming they’re from a legitimate source), I’d say you’re in good shape.
Even if the bank underwriter chose to violate the law and ignore the existence of the AU tradelines in your credit report, it is nearly impossible for them to physically change your credit score. Obviously, nearly every loan approval is based on the credit score. Therefore, you should still be in a good position to receive a loan approval. Just be sure the rest of your application meets the underwriting requirements (income, job history, etc).

If you lack the funds for a secured credit builder loan, take a look at SelfLender.com where borrowers can make monthly payments towards an FDIC-Insured Certificate of Deposit Account (CD). The monthly payments are deposited into a CD. Those payments are reported to the major credit bureaus Experian, Transunion and Equifax. At the end of 12-months your money is returned to you, plus you have 12-months of on-time payment history reported to the credit bureaus.

“The Federal Reserve’s Regulation B, which implements the 1974 Equal Credit Opportunity Act, requires that information on spousal authorized user accounts be reported to the credit bureaus and considered when lenders evaluate credit history. Since creditors generally furnish to the credit bureaus information on all authorized user accounts, without indicating which are spouses and which are not, credit scoring modelers cannot distinguish spousal from non‐spousal authorized user accounts. This effectively requires that all authorized user accounts receive similar treatment. Consequently, becoming an authorized user on an old account with a good payment history, may improve an individual’s credit score, potentially increasing access to credit or reducing borrowing costs. As a result, the practice of “piggybacking credit” has developed.”

That is something the other companies can't say. Our competitors earn more money the longer your have bad credit. Are you tired with everyone wanting a fee before you see even One result? A fee to audit your report, a fee to write a letter, a fee every month just for sending letters? We are so confident in using our distinct approach that we Charge ONLY for results with No Monthly fees, or Audit Fees and no Hidden Fees.
Unless you never plan on getting a credit card, getting a mortgage or car loan, or using any type of credit in your life, credit scores are important. You need to know how creditworthy or responsible you look to lenders because they ultimately decide whether or not to approve you for credit, how much credit you’ll be approved for and what interest rate you’ll get.

If you’ve never had a credit card before, your scores may be suffering because of that account mix factor we talked about earlier. Just make sure you make on-time payments — a new credit card account with a bad payment history will hurt you, not help you improve your credit scores. If you have a fair, good or excellent credit score, there are many credit card options out there for you. If you have a poor or bad credit score, read the next tip.
If you google tradelines, you’ll see many pages of results of people offering tradelines for sale. If you go to youtube, you’ll see everything from professional tradeline videos to people walking around an apartment complex in their pajamas “teaching” others how to increase their credit scores. If you go on craigslist (which you should never do), you’ll see packages from a no-name, no-company, no-phone-number “seller” asking you to irrevocably wire money in exchange for tradeline services.
Certain States require a statement by CRA informing the consumer about CRA obtaining and maintaining a bond and a place of business within the State. However, due to the fact that CRA does not require a Contract for any duration of time with the consumer and the fact that CRA bills consumers only after services are completed each month, CRA and certain subcontractors do not maintain a bond or a place of business in any State other than Virginia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
In order to get accounts, you have to apply for credit and be approved for credit. For example, applying for and being approved for a credit card. Once that credit card shows up on your credit report, that’s a tradeline. If you pay on time, your credit score will increase as your credit behavior is proven. If you miss payments or max out the account, your credit score will go down.
